11/07/2009- I am sincerely sadden and historic of the shooting that occurred at Ford Hood, Texas. "My prayers and heart goes out to the families of the 13 victims killed and the 31 wounded. Also, I would like to praise the female officer (unknown) who was the first responder on the scene and shot Malk Nadal Hasan, which was wounded herself." Keandre'Curry, said. The Coalition for Peace of America sympathies goes out to the families of the brave soliders who fell on Thursday. We are all praying for those who are wounded and for their full and speedy recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are also with the entire Fort Hood community as they deal with this senseless tragedy.

Congrulations America on your 100-year fight to get affordable healthcare! Most importantly, congrats to the 219 Democrats and 1 Republican that voted for the bill. I am tremendously proud of President Barack Obama, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and the leadership team for their hard work for making a historic dream come true. President Obama is history himself similar to the healthcare bill he successfully helped pass through the House of Representatives. This is a great sign for Americans because we finally have a President and House that listen to our visions and believe in our true values and passions. This event have me so jolly because it took an African American man and a House with majority of Democrats to pass a 100-year old dream. Thank you President Obama for checking off your campaign promises and for giving us, the American people, the belief that change is real and dreams do and can come true!

 Jacksonville, Fl- A child's body was found today in a Georgia landfill just across the Florida state line where 7-year-old Somer Thompson disappeared two days ago. The Coalition for Peace of America does not have information on whether the body is that of 7-year-old Somer Thompson. If it is confirmed that it is the body of Somer, we will be devasted by the results and ack of violent that is still in our communities.

This story is like many others but this case is local and very shocking to know that even with out awareness efforts, kidnappings are increasing. The First Coast community has gathered to support Somer Thompson's, Mother and we praise the community for their support to the Thompson family. Our prayers and deepest condenses goes out to the Thompson family.

Don't lose hope. The body may not be of Somer.
