About Us
The Coalition for Peace of America is a 501 (c) 3 organization that work to prevent and abbreviate crime from America's schools, parks, and neighborhoods. The organization was established in 2004, in honor of a Chicago boy that was stabbed and killed by his stepfather, when trying to protect his mother from being stabbed.
Our Mission The Coalition for Peace of America is dedicated to preventing crime and other violence-related activities from American communities through public awareness and education, serve as a resource to those touched by violence, and to support research, education, and access to violence-related resources.

- To reduce the risk of harm of people due to violent acts of others; and

Our Commitments:
The Coalition for Peace of America know that no matter how much effort we put into changing or rebuilding our community, its not all always going to be a success, so we can't promise you we will fix everything. What we can promise you is that we will continue to work hard and try to meet the community needs. You know our goals but not our commitments to you. Our commitments are as follows:
Stay Honest; The CPA is committed to staying honest and trustworthy to all our supporters, partners, members, and the communities in which we work in. We will keep you updated on progress and new plans.
Stay campaigning; No matter what the CPA has to do or how far we have to go, we will continue to campaign for peace and social change. We want a violence-free world, and this method will help that dream come reality.
Stay on our feet; The CPA leadership and legal team are itelligent and strong individuals that fight and stand ground for the organization, everyday. We will keep the organization in action as along as we are at-large.
Stay your friend; Once you become a friend of the CPA, you will always be our friend, until you terminate the friendship.
Stay providing quality service; Even with the economy hot as a potato, we will continue to provide our high quality services to all our clients.
Stay connected to the community; The CPA is a huge supporter of networking and we plan to use it as a method to understand how the community feels about the violence that occur near them and any suggestions they may have to approach and prevent violence. The CPA loves the feedback from the community and think one of you, could stop violence, forever!
Stay educating the community; Education! It's important for the people of the community to be knowledgeable of the events that take place near on in the neighborhood. The community also has the right to know of decreases and increases in crime or violence.
Stay dedicated to making our community a safe environment; The CPA will sincerely stay dedicated to making the community, safe and suitable, no matter what kind of financial or physical condition the organization is in.
