Our Mission Statement
The Coalition for Peace of America is dedicated to preventing crime and other violence-related activities from American communities through public awareness and education, serve as a resource to those touched by violence, and to support research, education, and access to violence-related resources.
Our Approach to Violence & Crime
For nearly six years the CPA, has used many different approaches to preventing crime including improving programs, adding gun drop-off locations in high crime areas, and speaking at youth clubs, centers, and schools but nothing has work. We are going to try new methods that are much easier and costless. We have just learned from partners, that the easiest things work.
We believe that the partnerships between community and community, school and school, and state-and-state can help strategize and determine the best methods to prevent and abbreviate crime from both American communities and schools.
We also believe that we need more programs and services that require the involvement of the American people, the community. If the public can see what we are trying to prevent and accomplish then maybe we will gain support and raise more awareness.
