Find the Missing Program
Program Mission:
This program's mission is to find missing children and adults and return them back to their family and friends, and along the way capture the offender and send them to prison. This program also aims to prevent kidnapping and adbuctions through educational awareness.
We Believe:
We believe that hope is a everlasting burst of success. Those missing children and adults can be found its just that we need help from the community as well. Kidnappings occur because one, parents aren't teaching their kids about safety and not talking to "strangers" and two, the community does not let their voice be heard. In every case of a kidnapping no-one seen anything, and that must change.
Program Goals:
- To prevent kidnappings ratings by 40-45.
- To bring 1,200 missing persons home to their families and friends.
- To close 2,500 cases of missing person cases. (successful or not)
- To have the criminals identified and captured for every case we work on.
The Problem:
We believe that some problems may include:
- Parents letting their children walk to their friends house alone;
- Parents not aware of their child's friends and who they talk to;
- Students aren't being taught about safety and strangers at home or school;
- Kids talking to strangers online, in which they think is their friend;
- Kids not telling their parents about unusual events that happened to them at school or online;
Some Solutions:
We believe some possible solutions to the issue may be:
- to know what websites your child is going on;
- to know who your child may be talking to online, if any at all;
- to introduce yourself to your child's friends and their parents;
- to block websites that you think is unappropriate for your child; and/or
- to teach your kids on a daily basis about safety and strangers.
