Justice in the Streets Program

Program Mission:

The mission of this program is to make American communities safe by taking guns off and out of the streets and away from our communities and schools. We want to take guns off the streets, out of our youth's lives, and make our communities a safer place to live, have fun, and enjoy your life.

We Believe:

We believe that criminals and violent individuals are able to do their job everyday, because the tools and resources are there, in which we are providing to them. If the government would get more involved on this issue then, professionals can get together and think the solutions out.

Program Goals:

  • Reduce deaths caused by guns;
  • take 200 guns off the streets of every neighborhood this program is present in;
  • keep guns out of the young people's hands and out of their reach;
  • keep guns out of schools and other educational institutions; and to
  • prevent gun violence and events by 35%.

The Problem:

We believe that the problems include:

  • the availabilty of guns;
  • weak guns law and regulations;
  • lack of fun resources (centers, community events, etc.);
  • drugs trafficking; and
  • gang involvement.

Some Solutions:

We believe that some possible solutions may include:

  • strengthening gun laws (buy, sell, etc.);
  • supporting gun violence programs;
  • violence-prevention classes in middle and high schools; and
  • increase gun and violence prevention and education programs in neighborhoods;
